“I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.”

Reflection:

If you don’t like the situation you’re in, you can change that. For example for Carson, he could’ve stayed living the way he did and not pay attention to his mom and continue school as he did, doing absolutely nothing but instead he listened to his mom and look at him now. He made the top student at his school and attended Yale University. He chose the right in order to succeed in life and help out his mom. You just have to work hard and strive hard in order to succeed in life just like Carson did.

“It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma (destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you.”

                                            Randy Pausch
Reflection:

Everything depends on the choices you make. The way you choose to live your life. The decisions you make throughout your life is what is going to take you places and get you to where you want to be. A single decision and it can determine your life without you really knowing.  For example, high school. What you do in high school will determine your future in college or whatever you decide to do in the future. If college is the case how we do now in high school will help us get to the college we want to go and from there our life will be developing.
