“Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others… but to get ahead of ourselves. “
                                                Thomas S. Monson
Reflection:

Everyone has a competitive side. Most of the time one can get carried away just to surpass their competition. What we really have to focus on is too do the good for ourselves. Our goal we should all have is to get ahead of ourselves not others. If you get ahead of others what good does that do? They don’t really care and in a way doesn’t affect them. You have to do it for yourself, for you to advance in life and accomplish things.

“Real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are.”
-Sterling W. Sill-

Reflection:
One may consider having money very important and may consider it as wealthy too. Money can’t buy everything. Most people who have wealth are greedy and believe they can have anything they want, but can they really? Maybe they have friends but are they loyal? Is the person they’re with loyal/faithful? Money can’t buy love. Money can get to someone’s head and mess them up. People who have little to no wealth know what it’s like to live without money but with love. I understand love can’t buy anything but people who don’t have wealth know how to thank for the money they make, for their wealth. While the people who have wealth take advantage of the money they have without really valuing what’s important. Family, friends, our loved ones are important, money does help but isn’t always there. People with wealth have a hard trouble making real friends because there might be many people after their wealth (fakes).  People who believe money can buy everything can’t take things for granted. Most wealthy people are stingy, mean, greedy, etc. people without wealth turn out to have better hearts and are more kind. For example there’s a saying, “where 2 people eat, 3 can eat.” This shows that people who barely have enough are willing to share with another as long as they all eat. Money doesn’t make us a better person, who we are, does.

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible."

                                                                        - Ezra T. Benson

        Reflection:
After doing something with bad intentions and you knew it was wrong your conscious will always be with you.For example if someone committed a crime they won't be able to go on without feeling right. Why?, because they know they chose the wrong on the contrary if you choose the right, you wouldn't feel bad about yourself. Instead one should feel good because they decided to do the right thing.Your consciousness will always be haunting you if you choose the wrong. It isn't right if you do wrong and feel right.
