Allopathic Physician (M.D.)
Duties and responsibilities:
Physicians examine patients; obtain medical histories; order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests; and prescribe and administer treatment for people suffering from injury or disease.  They counsel patients about illness, injuries, health conditions and preventive healthcare (diet/fitness, smoking cessation, etc.). They can also conduct medical research, teach and run medical centers.
Salary:
$150,000 - $300,000
Education:
Doctors typically receive a four-year bachelor's degree and then attend medical school for four more years, after which a three- to eight-year residency is required to practice medicine independently. Allopathic physicians must pass state medical licensing exams before beginning their residency and usually are required to pass a second exam at the end of their residency to gain certification in their field of specialty.
Reflection:

I wouldn’t like to be an allopathic physician because I feel like the medicine field isn’t for me. For my career I would like to become someone I like being. I would like to enjoy my job while earning money. I understand that allopathic physician help out people with their health and that if I were to become one I would be helping many people out. A career as an allopathic physician isn’t for me.
