Medical
illustrators produce resources such as photography and graphic images for
professionals involved in patient care, teaching, education and research. As
visualization specialists, they create imagery that advances medical science
information and authorizes health literacy for patients and the public. They
have the medical and scientific knowledge to hold complex information, extract
it down and communicate the story in a clear visual narrative that is accurate,
educational and engaging.

Reflection:
Being a
medical illustrator seems interesting. You get to draw and produce many
drawings and still get paid for doing so. Drawing is interesting so becoming a
medical illustrator isn’t a bad idea.
