Environmental health specialist
Duties and
responsibilities:
Conducts compliance investigations of food
facilities, apartment houses, hotels/motels, private premises, boarding homes,
theaters, stores, boats, swimming pools, spas, massage parlors, and body art
facilities. Issues official notices of corrective action and abatement and
makes follow-up investigations to ensure compliance. Reviews and investigates
reports of food or water-borne disease complaints, and reports of food handlers
with infectious diseases.

Reflection:
Although
this career seems quite interesting, I wouldn’t like to work as an
environmental health specialist.
