Diagnostic Radiologist
Duties and responsibilities:
As a radiologist, you'll examine various types of images,
including x-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, mammograms, ultrasounds, and
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. You might operate the machinery used to
collect these images and occasionally monitor imaging sessions run by
radiologic technologists and technicians.
Salary:
$61,000
Education:
Aspiring diagnostic radiologists complete a 4-year
bachelor's degree program. Then they must complete four years of medical school
followed by several years of residency training in radiology
Reflection:
Working as a
diagnostic radiologist does seem a bit interesting but I wouldn’t want to work
as one.
