Biomedical engineer
Duties and responsibilities:
This profession requires teamwork, speaking skills and
technical writing ability. They help treat patients. Biomedical engineers are
responsible for developing medical instruments. They work along with doctors
and scientists to research answers to medical questions. Biomedical engineers
take their research findings and develop models to help others understand human
or animal behavior.

Median $51,490
Education:
Biomedical
engineering students should take high school science courses, such as chemistry,
physics, and biology. They should also take math courses, including calculus.
Courses in drafting or mechanical drawing and computer programming are also
useful.
Reflection:
I don’t think I would like to be a biomedical engineer. I have
no real reason why. Although, it does seem interesting I feel like it wouldn’t be
my thing.
